Thus Far up Till Right About Now

So, I thought I would like to take this time and share what all is going on down here in Mexico. As I think all of you know, Vero and I have been working with the Summer Mission Groups that have been coming down since early June. It has been really hectic with keeping the groups active in ministry and keeping my new wife healthy (Vero has had the usual Morning sickness, along with a little bit of the flu). But as I write to you now, the groups are almost finished and Vero is actually entering her 4th month of pregnancy! Woo Hoo!! And Ironically I am the one who has been sick recently, as I have come to believe that my Mexico diet just doesn't accept Chinese food right now (the way I feel, maybe never!) cause I had stomach and chest cramps, (along with some other bathroom problems) for about 6 days.

But enough about me, let me tell you about the developments in our ministry here. First what's going on in El Higo. I talked to our brother Marcelo just yesterday, and he has made the second payment on our land there, lacking just one more payment before we are able to begin in the clearing and eventual construction of the orphanage there.

Also right now Vero and I are planning on changing a little of our plans for what is happening right after the Summer groups end. We are right now planning on staying for at least a few months in Arroyo, working with our church there, working there with the local brothers and sisters, trying to "jumpstart" there visitation and evangelizing "programs" . Still we are waiting for word on Vero's paperwork for letting us make a trip up north, as well we are also waiting STILL on my FM-3 missionary visa.

Now the part of the letter that I worry about writing, while a lot of time most of the needs that I have are for your Prayers and your remembering us and our mission and the people here, sometimes the needs we have are financial (?), so I just wanted to mention some needs that we have: my truck, while running pretty good, is in need of some repairs, mostly a new clutch, and also some tires, as Mexico has taken its tole on the treads. I don't want to ask specifically for like some amount of money, I know God has and will always take care of our needs here, if God tugs your heart to help with any of these we would greatly appreciate it. Again, I appreciate all of your prayers and support for Vero and I, keeping us working and active here in our part of the Global Mission field.
